Church Message  WELCOME TO BETHANY BAPTIST CHURCH You are welcome here! A very warm and sincere welcome awaits you at Bethany Baptist Church! We are a growing congregation located in the west end of Sault Ste. Marie. People of all backgrounds and ages call Bethany their church home. Lots of children, teens, and adults attend the services every week. In the last year we have increased our seating capacity, expanded our parking lot and added a full-sized portable. We seem to have visitors attend every Sunday. We have prepared a colourful welcome packet for every newcomer with pertinent information on our church - history, goals, ministries, etc. We are quite sure that you will find the people friendly, our worship uplifting and the messages relevant. Try us out and see for yourself! Our sincere prayer is that we will be a real help to each person who comes. Our aim is to serve you and your spiritual needs. MISSION STATEMENT The purpose of Bethany Baptist Church is to worship God, become more like Jesus, serve and fellowship with each other, and share God’s love and message with our community and the world. OUR AFFILIATION Bethany Baptist Church is a member congregation of the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches In Canada with headquarters in Guelph, Ontario. The F.E.B.C.C. was founded in 1953 as an evangelical association of like-minded churches. FACILITIES AND PROPERTY A brand new facility was completed in 1995 and it includes a multipurpose auditorium and a Christian education wing, all on one level, situated on seven acres of land. Bethany Baptist Church’s facilities are wheelchair accessible via the main entrance. Wheelchair - accessible washrooms are available in the front foyer area. The entire building is a smoke-free area. |
